Google Apps Gotcha

If you create your Apps domain with anything other than English-US, you lose functionality as per the post below;

YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE LOCALE ONCE YOU HAVE SET IT!

This means that if you need the full functionality and you have already set up your domain with some other locale you are stuffed!

I need to check with Google if this is something that their support team can resolve under the covers!

My advice - ALWAYS CREATE APPS DOMAINS AS U.S. REGARDLESS OF YOUR LOCATION OR NATIVE LANGUAGE!

Quick update on this; it looks like Google have fixed the locale issue with Apps. Last week I was able to change the local for my apps instance and the online stuff now [appears] to work.

However, I still don't have the US functionality on my Android handset, but I think that is the Handset config rather than the Apps config.
